That run was 90% scheme, he had a 6 yard wide hole with one DB on the second level, never even had to make a cut, and then walked in.
Vision. No doubt in my mind Roschon hits the wrong hole, and barrels forward for a 3-yard gain.

However, having the Eagles OL kinda helps, too.

This Eagles O-line is as impressive as it gets.

If Becton isn't playing RG in Chicago next season, I will be severely disappointed.

Stop pulling your arms in and launching.

Why are DBs so afraid to use their arms/hands? They all tuck them in and launching with head/shoulder.

In his defense, he’s trying to jar the ball loose and make a play. He led with his shoulder. I’ve accepted that defenders are in a tough spot there and risk a flag. I get why they still do it though. If he tries to use his arm or hands the receiver is still going to way more than likely catch the ball. These are big, physical guys. Short of a big hit where you miss the head and don’t get a flag you’re not jarring that ball loose.

I don’t know why I’m commenting on a play from 20 minutes ago, but whatever.

This is why I disagree with people who say pressures are more important than sacks. A pressure can't take you out of fg range.

That was about as easy a run as you could have. A huge hole and then one guy with 8 yards of green on either side when you get to second level.

Obviously Barkley is great though.

Pressures are one of the most flawed stats in football for judging a player's impact.

You can't win with Jared Goff. It's hilarious that people like @msadows tried to call me out for giving Johnson credit for making Goff into a thing. McVay saw it and unloaded him. People like @nc0gnet0 that tried to pretend having Goff was a positive thing obviously don't know what they're talking about. Quite honestly, the ones being exposed in this game are Aaron Glenn and Goff.
Goff is the same player he has always been. He has had multiple 4600 yard seasons. Goff problem is he does stupid things when you pressure him..

And all we have found out is that BJ did not fix this flaw to his game.. So why do we think that's a good option to help CW fix his flaws?

It’s so crazy that PHI gof Fangio.

I wish he was still our DC… sad
It’s a borderline unfair assembly of riches they have. Only chinks in the armor are the HC and Hurts… which obviously are the two spots you’d not want that, but they are excellent everywhere else.

Barkley get hurt there? Looked like he might’ve taken a rough hit in the arm.

If someone blames the brakes for the reason a car drove off the road when the actual issue was they were drunk and the steering is what actually went out, then yes, I can call them stupid.

The injuries on defense caught up to them, and Goff decided to remember he was Jared Goff.
Except in this analogy you want to hire the mechanic that was responsible for fixing the brakes and steering..

BJ supposedly fixed Goff.. he didn't.. can he "fix" CW?

Oh he didn’t? Look at Goff’s stats this year.

Yes he didn't fix Goff, he is the same player he always has been. He has had multiple 4600 yard seasons 28-32TD.. Goff doesn't do well with pressure, that has always been his kryptonite... BJ did not fix that flaw to his game.

didn't the 2018 Bears effectively draw up the plan to break Goff? lol

Unfortunately they didn’t plan on anything else, as our yearly past records show.

But I will admit, that was bad ass to see. Everyone excepted us to get manhandled. Everyone.

His 112 rating and the eye test paint a different picture. This is definitely the best version of Goff since he’s been in the league. Question is how much credit does BJ get for that vs the natural evolution and growth factor? 25%? 50%? 75%? Hard to say…but you don’t have a top 5 offense 3 years in a row if you’re not a great OC/play caller.

Is Stafford ok? His passes to the left are floating, almost picked off a hew times.
