Without talent developed by shanahan and the Denver Broncos (Cutler and Marshall), yeah, that team is offensively inept as well. And to be fair, Cutler dropped off drastically from 4500 yards in Denver to under 4000 yards every year of his tenure here in Chicago. That's the thing about the bears, they minimize the talent they have. Same with the Cubs and Bulls.

Yuck. 12 turnovers, 30% from the floor, rotations looked a bit slow. Definitely the first night of the season so far.

You can have all world talent and there will be good times because of that talent, consistency is another thing. That is where the offensive ineptitude comes from. It has nothing to do with lack of talent, because lets be real here, it's the NBA/NFL/MLB, etc, There isn't much of a talent drop off from player to player. the ineptitude comes from not utilizing your talent properly. Chicago is nutorious for that historically and has made it hard to keep watching. It used to be offense sells tickets and defense wins championships. not anymore with how the game is evolving. Offense sells tickets and wins championshps. Unless Chicago breaks this curse on offense (and yes it is a fucking curse) then there won't be championshps anytime soon. Blackhawks excluded of course.
