Butler will be an all star. That's what I learned. Deng, Noah, and Rose. Our three all stars didn't show up offensively.

One game the Bulls made respectable..Early fouls (and really throughout the game) really killed us....And then the just missed open shots. Derrick seemed to lose all of his confidence after the 1st quarter. Either way, hope he brings it for his first game back against NY on Thursday.

Not surprised about the outcome. Butler and Deng's foul trouble started a terrible chain effect. But I'm glad to see Boozer play well. Hopefully against the heat, he can that aggressiveness up for season series.

Rose, Noah and Deng out of rhythm. We should be happy we didn't lose by 40. Also who the hell was the guy who played when Deng and Butler had both two early fouls? Is he a basketball player?

I felt pretty deflated right after the game. I mean the comeback was nice, but Heat looked to of taking the pedal off quite a bit.

Things that troubled me;

Rose hasn't learnt to fight off and beat the same traps that haunted him back in 2011. Yes, he is still a little underdone but I could see he still doesn't know how to deal with the swarm defense when they trap him.

Our offense was horrid. No fluidity in the passing and it was all reactionary in the first half. The second half was a little better...

Deng's one dimensional skillset can get really exposed against the Heat. Deng often tries to dribble through traffic or hold the ball for too long and his handles aren't good enough to overcome Heat's swarming defense. Thibs better of noticed how Deng CANNOT guard Lebron. Butler is the man for Lebron and that's it.


Positives;

Butler was awesome when he was on the court. Great man defense and did everything right.

Boozer looks lighter and more nimble on his feet. I think that's helping him be more aggressive and he has carried on the form from the preseason..

BUT..there just might be a chance for Miritoc to make the Bulls superior to the Heat if Lebron signs with another team next summer......Cool, well sort of....
:thinking: It sure wouldnt mean as much or be as bitter sweet.....so it wouldnt matter much then....It would be TOO LATE for the Bulls to dethrone the Heat...........OF COURSE I'll blame the slow moving Bulls F.O's standpat attitude the last 3 years for this outrage.


If i were Paxson or Gar, i would go into every offseason and tradedeadline with a "This Year", "lets put it together NOW" attitude especially with a player of Rose's caliber on my roster..... Id do it while Derrick is young and on contract, and before he gets fet up too and goes championship hunting somewhere else like Lebron eventually did......Maybe if PaxGar had that attitude a few years ago like i have, the Bulls would of had a true contender BEFORE Rose got hurt in the first pace and a whole damned year was wasted........BEFORE MONSTERS LIKE THDE NETS, NY AND INDIANA were created....I would of been on it before the Heat was even built.......Gms like that get it done.........Now, not 10 years from now.......Time waits for noone and the window of opportunity is constantly closing year by year......

But but but, then Mirotoc will have to ride in on his magic horse to get the Bulls past Lebrons new team.

Everyone looked rusty, we'll been fine. I guess on the bright side Boozer looked great. I'll just throw it out there to, Deng looked horrible. I didn't think he even looked that good on the defensive side which is where he normally excels.
