hoping for the Best for Drose.
At the same this team needs to refocus and not worry too much.
At the same this team needs to refocus and not worry too much.
Meanwhile in Miami, the refs continue to fucking help the Heat. Seriously, the phantom first QTR calls and a horseshit F1 on Chandler is just enough to make you realize this league is still rigged.
The regular season doesn't mean anything in the playoffs. This team beat Miami without Derrick Rose, and with Rose's worst output ever.
I'm not saying it's going to be easy without him, I'm saying its realistic the Bulls can win without Rose.
Holy. Shit. Not going to happen without Rose in the game.
And if this is serious Thibs has great responsibility for this.
Thibs just lost COY in my book. Fool.
There's NO excuse for the starters to be on the floor with less than two minutes remaining in a PLAYOFF game and a double digit lead. I really thought Thibs knew that.
Nope, Thibs thinks teams can come back from 20 down in less than 2 minutes.
Not sure it matters how much time was left, or what the score was. Philly was making a small run towards the end. You want them thinking they have life in the series? Or would you prefer they be deflated and have ended this series quickly?14 point game with 2 minutes remaining. He should have all the starters in the bench. Especially Rose and Deng.
The regular season doesn't mean anything in the playoffs.
Exactly. Brand and Iggy said something to the effect of, "it's the playoffs, you want to make sure you have that first win."And if the Bulls blow the lead, people would be the first to blame Thibodeau for packing it in too early.
Thaddeus Young is now our authority on minutes played in an NBA playoff game? And t-young said you hate to see a player get hurt, especially when he prob should have been on the bench, hence game was in the bag.
Thaddeus Young is now our authority on minutes played in an NBA playoff game?
Both Magic and Barry said on the halftime show that he should have been out there.
Thanks. I will.Im sorry, didnt you just quote two other NBA players? But it fits your argument, so i guess thats all that matters. Carry on
Once again, look at everything I've been saying. You even agreed with me earlier in this thread about how the regular season doesn't count anymore. If this were Game 47 of the regular season, I'd be in full agreement with you. But you'd rather the Bulls build up a 20 point lead, only to let the Sixers make the score look respectable....and have them bring that into Game 2.Once again, look at my post about foot to throat and explain to me how that makes any sense in a game one in the first series, when we blew out the Heat in game 1 last year and Rose also got injured in a pointless possession in a loss vs the pacers.
Its well documented that Thibs runs these guys into the ground and in this kind of season, it makes it even worse. Good thing we got that overall #1 seed. Im sure we'll go far without our best player/leader/only hope.
Try hards....
