Q said they could have scored 4 if the Torres penalty was called a 5 minute major.
Oh, Q.... :smh:

Game 3 is the first game of the series that the Hawks should have won.
They were badly beaten in the first two games, no matter what the score card in the second game says. They've been physically outmatched in a huge way and their big name players have not stepped up. It's crystal clear that Vancouver wants this series much more than Chicago does and they have a roster that can get it done. They're not being stopped by this Chicago team.
Back to game 3... the Hawks played well and really played well enough to win the game. But, great, determined teams find a way to win games they maybe shouldn't and that's precisely what Vancouver did tonight. The Hawks did it last year (nashville game 4, many of the sharks games)
I don't like shitting on the Hawks and if you've read my posts throughout this whole season, I've remained positive because I don't enjoy shitting all over a team just because they're struggling. But it's pretty clear now that the Hawks can not do this. It's not some big bold indictment of the franchise... they're just out matched and more importantly facing a team that is a lot hungrier and has a lot more to prove.
I dunno. They had chances in Game 2, and definitely played with more intensity tonight. Apart from some poor defensive turnovers, they looked solid. The only game that they didn't look like they belonged in the playoffs was Game 1.
The whole problem is that the Hawks don't have the depth they did last year.
Yeah, I know, you're not the type to shit on the Hawks and you're right that they're outmatched. I just don't think it's fair to give up with another game left to play. I'm not saying the Hawks will or won't win, it's just aggravating to see so many people jumping ship.
And it's not just you. I've listened to my roommate whine for the last week about how the Hawks suck and I'm just tired of hearing it. I literally just told him not to watch Game 4 if he's so convinced they don't stand a snowballs chance in hell.
I guarantee that as soon as the Bulls drop a game or two, everyone on here is going to be so convinced that they're not going to win. It's just aggravating to see Chicago fans give up on Chicago teams before it's over (except for the Cubs, it's always over for them).
