Thank god Bickell is out. He not only completely squandered his chance to be on this team for the first two games, but I think he can take a hike for good once this year is over.

As for Scott, it's a complete desperation move and I'll take it. Unlike almost everyone else on the team, I think John understands what he needs to do and I think he's willing to do it. Get in Vancouver's shit, agitate and make them at least think about who they're hitting.

If he accomplishes any of that- it's a success. He's a smart, large body (albeit with minimal skill) that has been given new life in the form of playoff ice time. News of him playing actually got me more interested in this game, though I'd really welcome any fresh blood at this point.

Agreed, except for the bolded part.

He needs to fart in Lou's face, and keep doing it.

I share your meh attitude on Bicks, but I cannot fathom him not being back next year as he's already signed for a very inexpensive price.

It'll be easier for Q to dictate what lines Scott will go up against as long as C on his line is able to win draws. I wonder if he sees more than 5 minutes of TOI.

John Scott sucks at hockey. There is nothing good about him.

Nucks get Torres & Samuelsson back while we get Scott? **** this team.

The main problem I have with Scott has to do with sitting him for like 34 of the last 35 games -or whatever it was ... for a guy with no actual rythym, expecting a guy like that to be able to bail you out after dropping the first two -might be a little much. It also sort of marginalizes any actual "reputation effect" he might have had if he actually played more often. In other words, it shows as a desperation move - it is nearly like watchong of those lame Texas Hold 'em torunaments on ESPN , where the guys wear shades to hide their eyes... but waering mirrored ones... not so subtle. :/

That being said- that isn't Scott's faut- but the coach's fault.

John Scott is good at what he does... the coach did not want what he does... which is fine, that is the coach's perogative.

Your the kind of fan that brings disgrace to a team...

If you dont like the god damn team on the ice, go find another team to root for! You seem to be fond of detroit, go follow them!

Your no better than those people at the UC who never heard of hockey until last year and now act like they are knowledgeable...

and ya we know...your dad has tickets so your a true fan  pshh

I'd be absolutely shocked if a Canuck will be willing to go with Scott; the stakes are too high for the Nucks to allow fisticuffs turn the momentum.

Maybe he can bring some attitude around Greasy Bob, though. If he does, hopefully it can be contagious.

Totally agree with Iago... no Canuck should go with Scott- they have no reason to - being up 2 games to none and not ever being behind in a game - why mess with what is working is more than likely what they have to be thinking.

I hope scott can just mess with Luongo a bit...bump him after whistles, crash the net on every shot, etc

Exactly. Byfuglien really tore him up last year. Scott can't compare to Buff, but if he can distract Luongo enough to get a couple softies, we could get back in this series.

Not a good line, that's for sure. I understand mixing things up, but that's a little too much if you ask me.

lol getting worked up over a 4th line...we have all seen Q coach before...his 4th line rarely gets ice time

Not getting worked up at all, just giving my thoughts on it. I'm more concerned about the top 3. They need to get it done tonight.
