Solid win tonight.

Even besides the goal, thought TT had one of his better games tonight. Was willing to go into the high traffic areas and it paid off. Toews also played one of his best games of the season and Panarin look real good on his wing.

Hartman had a rough one out there...Kane ended up taking a couple of shifts with his Kero/Dano at the end there. Thought Kero/Dano looked good on the cycle but not much else past that.

Also...sooner or later the bottom six has to get going. That was what usually makes this team great when they contend. Still plenty of time but would be nice to see it happen soon.

Wednesday should be a good one. Looks like Tarasenko will be back in action by then...easily one of the more exciting players to watch. Just hope he doesn't do too much against the Hawks.

That's the number of games he'll play for Rockford before flying to LA and/or Russia to punch Marta Voynov...with the hopes of eventually catching on in the KHL...preferably near a wooded area.

You don't work the D for clean shots on goal, getting too over aggressive, and hastily shooting, you run the risk of giving up the shorty, as the Kings did.

The Kings may have missed the playoffs all together last season, but they are looking sharp, and are well coached. 2 cups in the last 4 years is not a fluke.

By the some coin, if you have watched much of the Hawks, you'd know that they can score in bunches in a flash, and that no lead is ever safe against them. It was fun to watch them ratchet it up this game. You know they wanted to piss on LA's fire. This team plays for the post season. They have taken 2 cups, and went to a game 7 OT in the WCF, in the last 3 years. Don't get fooled by the regular season. They are the Cup favorites until they are eliminated. Just enjoy the season. This is still a very special team
