Gotta bring in a defensive replacement for Pierre. I've never seen Pierre look this rough.

I guess I have to be drinking a ton of kool aid and be an apologist to get in the good graces of gunzaan

Are you even reading what I am saying? If you want to drink the kool aid, then you will be just like most everyone else around here. *boggle*

Roll your eyes all you want. The truth hurts. :flipa:

what truth?

the fact that I am not crowning the sox or the hawks? please. I watch my teams with a critical eye. simple as that.

You've gotta be kidding me blaming Thornton for that. I don't care if Thornton sucks or not, Pierre has to be able to catch a routine fly ball.

Yes, he should catch that ball, but since you are a Cubs fan, I will spell it out for you: Thorton has gotten rocked everytime he has stepped on the rubber this year. It has cost us a game everytime he has been on the rubber. So yes, Pierre dropped it, but if Mark was still in the game, he wouldn't of even had to catch the ball because it never would have left the infield.

oh i thought you meant in general by a SP

Well if an A's starter gave up five runs I would be pissed cuz it would kill my era.

My team has the lowest era and fewest wins. It's annoying.

Speaking of the Cubs.

Do you think Thornton is LaTroy Hawkins 2.0?

And by that I mean great setup pitcher awful closer.

Congrats. I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about 95% of the posters here. Rip on any of the Hawks players and you don't know shit about hockey (of course I played for 14 years and reffed for 6, but whatever). Ask a legit question about Lovie Smith, and no one wants to critique him at all. Talk about how the Heat might be a problem for the Bulls and be completely discredited.

In all honesty, the Sox forum is the only one that does have a good mix of realistics and critics.
