Well I was off doing something else ... watching the food fight that is called Question Time in the House of Reps here ... so I only got to see the Trib report ... read this:

Viktor Stalberg scored the game-winner in overtime for the Hawks.

Lepisto has a shot and he's not afraid to jump in and use it.

Seeing him have a nice game makes me feel a little better about seeing Keith go down.

And yeah, Crawford wasn't on (that rebound give up was very unlike him... I had flashbacks to Turco), but the guys pulled it out against a very strong defensive team.

I was shitting after Nashville's first goal. I figured we were in for a nice dull game of lock down hockey. Glad I was wrong :rolling:

Shenanigans aside, this was a fun game. Crawford was shaky enough (a rare feat) that I didn't feel good at all, even with the 1 goal lead in the 3rd. Clearly it's not how you want games to end up (and it would have been great to get it done in regulation), but it's nice to see the team put up some points on a strong defensive team and let the offense really do it's thing. Kane was unbelievable and I think Hossa might have been using one of Frolik's sticks!

It's hard to believe the powerplay drought that the team is in, but it wasn't for lack of chances tonight. Rinne was really good on the PK.

Big win for the Hawks, but I would have liked to see them not allow Nashville that 1 point

PP needs to get better and FAST

our offense is clicking right now, and if we were able to finally take advantage of these chances we would be REALLY hard to beat
