That secondary and those slow footed linebackers are going to have all sorts of problems covering the underneath stuff. McLaurin, Ekeler and Ertz should feast—Detroit’s pass rush will need to blitz to generate pressure. Daniels could run for 100+ on them, they can spy him but it’ll need to be one of their safeties. Campbell, Anzalone and others just aren’t fast enough to keep up. If Detroit ends up going single high, there will be a few deep passes

They've gotta be huge dogs in that game. Even if Daniels plays well, the Lions offense will be hard to keep up with. Both teams like to run... but Washington is trash against the run and the Lions are really good against it. Washington also had a cake-walk schedule all year. It would be a monster upset that should surprise anyone as much as anyone can be surprised by a playoff football game.

I think Washington has to play the perfect game in order to beat DET. As much as I’d like to see Washington continue their playoff run, it’s gonna be tough. Their defense barely held on against a weaker TB offense.
