I just think it's funny how the White Sox fans that didn't like the trade are reacting right now.
Like there are some people that were pissed at the Sox for getting Youk and giving up their precious Lillibridge.
And then there are fans like me and Dews that were wanting him as soon as the talks started. And when we found out what the Sox were giving up, we almost died because we knew it would be a steal. And guess what? We were right.

Imagine where we would be if we didnt obtain youk when we did. I saw a tweet and someone asked him about his back....he said "non issue" I love the new way of setting the lineup up top with guys who see pitches. youk is refreshing to this team.

Agreed. The Sox took the chance and it was a huge fucking win.
And that's the stuff that sometimes bites KW in the ass, but a lot of the time it works. Dunn, Rios, and Youk are all hitting right now. And those are all guys that KW picked up to make the team better despite what most teams thought about them.

Dunn's contract wasn't scoffed at. It only looked bad when he decided to have one of the worst seasons in modern baseball after being one of the most consistent players in baseball.
