Haha that's awesome! I hate people who went to that game because that is my favorite baseball game of my lifetime. I watch the WS DVD and skip to that game everytime and still get goosebumps.

Damn it. I was thinking of the wrong game. My dad was at game 1. Game 2 was the game I was SUPPOSED to be at, except I was part of a wedding that night. But I left the wedding and went upstairs to go watch the game just in time to see Konerko's grand slam.

Well, if you're going to get blown out, might as well be when a rookie making his ML debut.

Should be able to get to Buchholz, lets hope for a split.

just like how we were suppose to hit Hochshitter, Mendoza & Cook.

4th time in the last five games Sox have scored three runs or less.

:elephant:

Team is very streaky with the bats. Seems like they'll go on a tandem and hit well with RISP (Tex / Tor series) then they'll just play corpseball for a week and a half.

I guess its better than last year where it was all corpseball.

Youkilis has a tight hamstring apparently and that is why he is sitting today.

Yup. Just found that out. Pretty sure Ventura would have to be crazy to take him out without a reason.

Hope he's ready for a big series this weekend vs the Kitties.

Sox need to start hitting the ball again.

What I don't get is why Ramirez is put into the 2 hole. Why isn't Beckham put there? He's already proved that he can hit pretty well there. I don't really trust Ramirez in that role.

Beckham hasn't proved jack shit to hit anywhere. Hitting in the .230's is inexcusable.

He's hitting .230 because he hasn't been in a consistent spot in the lineup, he did very well in the two hole until we acquired Youk and pushed him down, Beckam is clearly made for the two hole, likes those fastballs I guess

The 2 spot is somewhere where the player should have a good OBP. Beckham's is better than Ramirez'. Also 9 homers in that spot is better than 3 homers in the spot.

AVG isn't the only thing to use to judge a player.

Beckham was good in the 2 hole and hell of a lot better than Ramirez is or will be.
