niko, dunn, and mcd better all shoot lights out to keep up with all the points Washington will score on that lineup

I'd be interested in what your preferred defensive lineup would be right now. I keep hearing about bad defense from Niko and McD, I just don't agree it's as bad as people say, myself.

I think Wall will destroy Kirk myself, don't like that matchup at all with the way Kirk's playing. His defense is highly over rated now.
Wall theoretically should go off no matter who's guarding him. Maybe you stick Snell on him and try to use his length and then maybe put whoever else on Beal, but neither is really ideal. Maybe Kirk would do better on Beal, but who really knows. Kirk's getting 20+ minutes...you can count on that whether you like it or not.

you can disagree if you want to but those 3 on the court together is a bad idea defensively. if I was to pick a starting lineup for tonight id go kirk, snell, dunn, gasol, noah. reason for kirk starting over brooks is we need brooks' scoring off the bench. you can get away with kirk and his lack of offense when you have guys like gasol, dunn, and surprisingly snell lately on the court to score

I like it. How about Snell at PG and McD at SG? :dunno:

First off, I didn't say those 3 together. Where did you get that? Dunn/McD means one or the other?

I'd be willing to try it only by virtue of Noah being a point center. Let the 3s fly.

In all seriousness, I have wondered about both. If Snell could improve his handles, it would really help the Bulls. And I have thought about McD at SG, kinda like how ATL plays Korver there at times. Do you think Wash would just press us if Snell started bringing up the ball? I'd like to see it a couple times, myself.

In reality, Snell would get his pocket pick by Wall way too many times for it to be worth it. He doesn't have great handles. McDermott at SG kinda leaves him out to dry against Beal. I suppose you could cross match again and stick Dunleavy on Beal and McDermott on Pierce, but I think Pierce would go to town on him, even if McDermott guards against players like him better. Who knows though? I'd be willing to experiment only because I don't think we'll do very well conventionally anyway.

exactly. id much rather get mcd lined up on a backup player for Washington...give him a fighting chance defensively. try to build his confidence a little

I don't even know Washington's bench perimeter guys...I'm sure McDermott could score on them. In fact, that one preseason game he probably did decent.

rasual butler and martell Webster im pretty sure. and im thinking more to get him confidence on the defensive end instead of getting burned by the starters
