In no way am I stating that the site is going the way of the dodo. Maybe just get an admin in that has the time to take care of things, maybe stripping it down to simple boards. For the most part they police themselves, so 2 moderators with the level of traffic that flows through. Hockey season will see a bit of a pickup, so it would be nice to see. </p>

It's typical off season stuff. Less news and noise, less traffic. With the season slowly ramping up it'll get better

I wouldn't doubt if this thread with all its responses (a lot from people who promptly never posted again while insisting fervently that the site not merge because of the "great community") was the high point for all of last year as far as activity and the amount of different people posting over a given period.
