Goodness, Purdue is hammering MSU.
That's surprising, but not surprising. MSU feasted on home games and a road game against a weak NUrds team. They finally had to play at a tougher place in the B1G. The disparity between home and road wins in the conference is crazy this year so far.

He does initiate the offense. Even the commentators today mentioned it. Kofi is a generational talent. And yes, they knew last year they needed to change their defense. They couldn’t do it until they had a rim protector. It was obvious they were fouling too much. The analysis by the nerd friend of the kid showed what the best were best at, which is why they changed what exactly they did. Oh and 17 rebounds...outside of Deon Thomas in 90 and Krupalia in 99, no freshman big man has done what Kofi has done with rebounding. But that isn’t super inoortant.
Kofi has been a big factor.

But referring to him as a “generational talent” is insane.

Didn't think they'd be ranked but wow. First time since 2014. Now can they climb?

They will probably move up one or two with a win over NW but then it's at Purdue and at Michigan. Not likely to win both those.

Still, it's been 6 years since the last ranking. This is likely going to be a 20-11ish record and a 10/11seed in the tournament.

Last year, Illinois would have found a waynto have lost today’s game against the NUrds. Trent was fire in the first half! Kofi wasn’t at his best, but Giorgi picked up the slack. Good to see.

5 guys in double figures. Granted its NWU but it hasn't been often that UI has had 5 players in double figures in Big 10 play

Defensive intensity was disappointing, but I really never thought they were going to lose, which is unusual in a game like that. Ayo is a closer.

If they can get one this coming week that would be great.
