The buyout this year is $12 mil. Smith is getting a 4th year whether anyone likes it or not, especially after getting the 4th win of the season which beat the Vegas odds. It drops to $4 mil next season. Perhaps when his extension is agreed upon after this season, the buyout numbers will be less.
