More buffoonery on your part. Taking things out of context and suggesting Nick Saban. That isn't even a legit possibility. You can't even make any reasonably serious suggestions, because you are concerned a creep would rip your suggestions apart like you do to others. Great job, representative of the forum ownership!

I think Nick Saban would be a great hire!

According to Parade's Barry Alvarez Timetable Illinois will be 11-1 or 10-2 next year and win the Rose Bowl, finishing as the #5 team in the country.

I don't see why they wouldn't....

Not gonna get hired by Illinois. Way to make a great suggestion. You're still hijacking the thread as a representative of the forum owners. I'm glad they want quality people representing them.

Whats assumptious? Sounds delicious.
It's a word a lightweight like yourself can't comprehend.
No you don't.
So convincing, as usual.
No shit. I've repeatedly said that. From the start. Hence 2019 being the test....I love how I prove you wrong, then you use something I said to try and use it as a point against me. You're insane.
LOL. You stated "You're 100% wrong about this. He got a contract extension last year in the midst of losing four of his last 5 games. Minny has made a long term investment here." and I've told you that Fleck is already wearing thin in Minny, but 2019 is the test?:lol::lol: If he could be gone in 2019, they haven't made a "long term investment". You own that. I don't.

Lovie needed to show progress this season. While he didn't have to go bowling, the team needed to go at least 4-8 (double the team wins from previous season) and look competitive. While they were ahead of PSU in the 3rd quarter, the meltdown in the 4th was awful. Purdue was a big loss and Maryland was pitiful. That can't happen in year 3, but now he beat Minnesota in a game Minnesota was favored by 9.5. They should have won my a lot more, but between an overturned call that shouldn't have been overturned providing a 10 point swing and the walk-ons/backups in the defensive backfield giving up a couple of touchdowns late, the D stats look worse than what happened on the field when it mattered. So, it would make sense, if this season was about progress as the AD and higher Admin have suggested, then these last 3 games are going to indicate whether or not this team is making progress. If they lose all three, they had better look competent or I could see them losing at least one of their top recruits to another program. Year 4 has to include a bowl.

What I don't get is why you keep citing the spread in the Minnesota game. Who gives a shit? Yes Minny was favored by 9.5 and Illinois won. Okay? That happens all the time in sports. What about the previous game where MD was favored by 17 or so and Illinois lost by 30.

Do you think Whitman pulled Lovie into his office and said "Okay here's the deal. We are 9.5 point underdogs so I expect you to lose by 9 points or fewer?"

It's actually not a word at all.

So convincing, as usual.
I know!

In my first post on Fleck I stated 2019 was the test!

Lovie is a great hire and I was not a huge fan of Lovie in Chicago. I will be very surprised if IL doesn't become a regular bowl attendee in a few years.

:aj: :aj: :aj:

Holy shit How'd I miss this?

That's a dumb decision by Illinois!
It's super dumb by you to keep posting him as a "serious possibility", when he wouldn't be. It's just more indication how much of a clown you are and the negative drain you are to CCS, especially as a representative of the fourm ownership.

I don't think kapooncha thinks I'm hijacking his thread.
Kapooncha has been on my ignore list for a long time. He is likely more disliked in the Cubs forum than you are.

Holy shit. What happens if/when he gets a new DC next season and they go bowling beginning next season? PrematureejaculationTimer should be your moniker.

Because you're butthurt that I kept whooping your ass in debates. For example, you think Lovie should get another season because he "beat the spread" against Minnesota. LMAO

IF IF IF IF

You said Lovie would become a regular bowl attendee in a few years. This is his 3rd season and we still haven't even sniffed a bowl. LMAO

Few =/= to 4. :aj: Nor would 1 year in 4 be a "regular" bowl attendee.
