Ok, whats with the lettering? Its good on some jerseys... not this one.



I don't like this jersey one bit. Love the colors and I'm glad the seaslug is dead, but I'd rather have the logo only instead of words.



The only team I think that pulls the words off is the Rangers.. Those jerseys aren't too bad.

I like the one Wild sweater that is just letters.

I do as well, but nothing beats an original classic. I must admit, though... Minnesota's are pretty sweet, too.



I'm just scared to imagine what Anaheim's will look like. Their new 3rds will come out in November from what I was told.

All verisons are the sabres jerseys lately have been LAME. Yes even the charge buffalo. PUT A FUCKING SWORD ON IT OR CHANGE THE FUCKING TEAM NAME. Just call them the Buffalo Buffalos and fucking be done with it or put a fucking sabre on the jersey instead of a BUFFALO.

Agreed, but anything is better than that last design. That one really sucked.

Agree also. Nothing wrong with the old logo at all. It's actually really great. I have always loved it. Hell the Sabers may have never won a cup but there is some pretty deep history with that club. They have one of the best lines of all time, one of the best USA born players ever. The old logo is rich in history and its damn sharp. Not sure why they ever had to try and break away from it. Next to the Hawks I also think its one of the best logos in hockey on a hat.



I don't get the lettering fascination at all and don't know who is buying them or who the target market is for them (obviously it's not the true hockey fan). Obviously the Rangers is good because it's an original 6 design and it's simple block lettering. Canucks failed by putting lettering on theirs. No offense CL but I hate the Ducks lettering. I just don't like lettering. It makes it look like softball jerseys which was mentioned and it also makes it look like they are city tourist souvaniers. YUCK.

While I am happy the slug is gone, I agree with you MassdrunkHavoc. If they wanted to go older, just go back to the Buffalo with Sabres jersey. It was pretty good looking, and timeless.

Sabre fans are as pissed off at their ownership right now, as most Hawks fans used to be with Wirtz.



Attendance in Buffalo will be interesting.

The reason the O6 are so good is because the were designed before computers. The all were hand drawn or whatever. The next six weren't bad either. Once computers got involved, things started getting goofy.



The original Buffalo was goofy, but not too bad. This is a little ***. And not in that awesome dick sucking way.

Unfortunately, most jersey designers lack common sense.



I love the above jersey. Keep it and do nothing else to it.

New one looks like a Men's League jersey. If they want vintage then go back to 1980 when they had a good one and be done with it already.

Here's the back of the new jersey. Atrocious. I've never seen numbers so ugly, and can we please, PLEASE get rid of the opposite color nameplate trend that is going around the NHL? It looks bush league.

Ummm.... Who is the artist that designed by far the ugliest piece of crap I've ever seen yet? I'm sure I could do a MUCH better job than that guy.... like I dunno, bringing the original Sabres jerseys with just the logo of the swords/buffalo and nothing else? No handwriting, no "Buffalo" in any form of font. JUST the logo, please, thank you!



I feel bad for anyone playing in a Sabres jersey right now.
