I've Got Cubs winning the next two series, followed by the Dodgers into the WS.
I've go the Astros losing to the Royals with the BlueJays into the WS
Dodger Champs.

Until....
Commissioner Manfred passes a rule that makes the 2015 Cubs WS Champs because they are the Cubbies. In fact he'll move the Marlins to the AL and declare that the Cubbies actually beat them for the title for historical accuracy.

Lester games 1 and 5. Arrieta game 3. Combination of Hamels, Hendricks, or bullpen game games 2 and 4.

Despit the Sabathia news, he was doubtful for the playoff roster anyway, I like the Yankees chances going forward. Houston has not looked good at all. I can actually see NY going as far as the ALCS where they'll be beaten by Toronto. The Blue Jays look like as much a lock for the WS that any team I've seen in several years. Of course baseball being baseball it won't happen quite like that.

I realize that the Yankees limped into the playoffs but for whatever reason I like the Yankees in today's game (not to be confused with liking the Yankees which I DO NOT). Kuechel is pitching on short rest and on the road where he has been average. Tanaka didn't look good in his last start coming back from injury. I don't see a pitcher's duel in this game and if comes down to bats, in Yankee Stadium I think the Yankees win.

Buster Olney is on record as saying he thinks whoever wins the NL WC tomorrow wins the WS. I'm not quite ready to go that far but I do think whichever team wins tomorrow wins the NL. The AL is a crapshoot. Logically you have say it's Toronto in a walk but when has baseball ever worked that way?

Wouldn't be surprised. Cards won the most games and have played the Pirates well. Cubs are the only team that has made the Cards look bad this year.

The way I look at it is all 3 teams would be division champs in any other division. Cards are wounded. You have to give them the odds

I'm scared of the Jays. I don't believe that team is sustainable but as far as this year you have to give them the odds. Too much fire power

Cubs do match up. They have legit DH options. Really depends in the kids putting together complete efforts

It is hard to bet against the Cubs right now. They have exceeded all expectations so this is just another challenge
