Brooks should also see more playing time given no MCW this round.. That should open up more 3's for him too.
BUT THEY HAVE TO!
I think 3 point shooting is going to be very key. So I hope if Butler and Rose suck more, that guys like Snell and Niko can step up their game (Their 1st round %'s sucked).
Agreed. We need to be hitting 3s to win. If all they have to do is pack the paint, we're in trouble.Brooks should also see more playing time given no MCW this round.. That should open up more 3's for him too.
Pau seems to fold like a beach chair when guys get aggressive with him and Mozgov certainly will
we need Rose to outplay Kyrie and Jimmy to just keep playing like he is...the rest of the team needs to stay aggressive and focused as they were tonight
hopefully Thibs is ready to make the right adjustments and in a timely fashion...like in-game not 3 games later...i noticed the jumbo didn't play last night and hopefully never will again
we'll see how it goes...im still skeptical of this team...seen enough where one great game doesn't change things....they haven't shown me they can stay consistent

Of players who have shot three's (though I left Marion in here to show he really hasn't played).
Bulls are shooting by a wide margin far better than Cleveland. 40% to 32 %. Only the Wizards are shooting better in these playoffs.[/QUOTE]
wait, you mean the mighty, unbeatable warriors aren't tops in 3 point shooting these playoffs?!?!?!
I would play hack a King for this series. I'd double team Lebron every damn time he gets the ball. I'd throw Gibson, Mirotic, Noah, and Snell on his ass and basically track him like a pack of wolves. Without Love and Smith, let the other cast of characters try and beat the remainder of the Bulls. But let Butler match up against someone else and not wear himself out trying and gaurd Lebron. Let Lebron wear himself up trying to guard Butler, not the other way around.
By the end of this series, I want to see the scowl on the guy's face wondering what the **** hit him. I want the re-birth of the Bulls ball-hawk defense, bring on the junk yard dogs!
The Bulls are such a hard team to figure out. Game to game you just never know what you're going to get out of them. Not that he has been playing great, but the Bulls really need to jump on them the first two games while Smith is out He shouldn't be the difference in any of the games, but you know what he is capable of doing. I'm also hoping that whomever Mozgov is guarding goes at him aggressively. Get him into foul trouble early and often this series.
With how this team plays...you never know if they'll actually do what they're supposed to:dontsay:

Well I was saying that with Smith out, and with Love also out - it's a golden opportunity for this team to leave Cleveland up 2-0. It took a third game to finally put the Bucks away. You are not getting that luxury with the Cavs. So maybe play more like last night and like they did in game 1. Not like the shitheads they played like in games 4 and 5.my response was more to do with the fact we have heard people say how the bulls "need to jump on the cavs in the 1st two games bc of the JR smith suspension," about a million freaking times already now. like the first two games were somehow less important if JR smith was playing

Before my post, there were only 2 posts in this thread that mentioned anything resembling what I said. 2 out of 46, or 4% if you prefer it that way. So in a thread that is used to discuss this series and make predictions, only 4% of posts prior to mine made mention of that. I think you are reading and seeing only what you want.and again, this has been said/mentioned only 3.216 million times already
and the bulls players will be up for playing Cleveland and LeBron a lil more so than playing their "redheaded stepchildren" from 90 miles north, don't ya think? kind of just normal human nature

And as far as the Bulls being up for playing Cleveland, I think the better question to ask is why weren't they up for beating the Bucks in 4 or 5? That is my point, there is no consistency with this team in terms of intensity.
Have I posted in those other threads? Have I responded to the posts that have discussed that?LOL, you must have some free time...since you do, how about you go check some of the other recent threads on here too. also, who said I was talking about just within this thread? that's you assuming things...
and again, ill mention that it is human nature to let down against opponents you feel are inferior...just like it is human nature to "get up" for opponents you feel are your equal or better than you. aren't you a teacher or something? you should understand this concept

Not a lot of playoff basketball games played in 7th period Geography.
Like I said before, I do not expect either of them to shoot nearly as well from 3 in this series.
The Cavs are not a good defensive team. We just faced the best defensive team in the East in the playoffs, the Bucks, and shot 40% from 3 against them. I don't think it's a leap of faith to think that open shots will continue against a weaker defense that just lost two key players.
This series completely shifted when Love went down. The suspension of Smith helps but losing Love is a huge blow to the Cavs chances. Before I would have called it a pretty even matchup. Now, the scales are completely tipped in the Bulls favor. Without Love and Smith to pull the defense out, the lanes are going to closed for Lebron and Kyrie's drives. Lebron is going to have to have a monstrous series imho for the Cavs to come out on top in this one.
wait, let me get this straight...you want the bulls to hound LeBron and make the others beat us, but then you state that you don't want jimmy guarding LeBron??? doesn't make a whole lot of sense brah
