Junior Lake really needs to be sent down. He's only 24 he can definitely fix things and comeback next season or some time down the line. He's the kind of player that needs to be playing everyday

This is one time I'd say that we should make some conclusions based off of pitcher wins/losses...

I worry at 13 million a year with more years to go that Jackson is untradeable.

He has not been bad this season.

But he won't continue to be this bad. He has a LD% of 27. That's absolutely absurd.

I think he's worth holding onto because he could bounce back and be a 3 or 4 WAR pitcher.

Yeah, that's an interesting point... there's a better chance of him eventually providing us some value than us getting anyone worth anything in a trade...

And honestly, he serves the vital purpose of bringing us closer to that #1 pick... one horrific start at a time.

I have good news for you. He's only making $11 mil per year after the first year because the cubs gave him a $6 mil "signing bonus" year one. I suppose "good" might be over stated but you get the idea.

Looking at Jacksons peripherals doesnt do a lot. Every year they always seem not so bad ot they would have to even out but they dont. Its wither he is most unlucky guy in the world or players just make great contact on him. I am going with the latter.
