I was literally fuming at my table when they made Youk bunt. Then Youk strikes out. Must be nice when you give the pitcher two free strikes.
I would rather give it 3 tries with runners on first and second, than 2 tries with runners on second and third.

thats a bit drastic. they arent scoring runs unless its a hr. leyland said that the key is keeping them in the ballpark and they are easy to beat. look how we won yesterday and up to that failed inning we had 2 hits only and both were hrs. its a bit premature to call him ozzie jr. its typical of palehosed

Just kind of sucks, because its likely they'll drop the next two and be tied with them.
I really wish Peavy wouldn't have pitched tonight. Detroit seems to be able to get him after 4 innings or so. They were deflated and we probably singlehandedly breathed life back into them tonight.
Should have let Floyd pitch tonight, he's a Tiger tamer, better chance with him winning.
Had the Sox won tonight, Detroit would have really been scrambling and pressing, Peavy probably would have a better time mowing them down under those circumstances.
