7:05 start tom. Should be a lowering scoring game. Lets hope Arrieta brings the stuff.

LOL, who are you talking about? Who fuckin cares? Did you watch the Cubs win today? Are you really gonna focus on this 3 year old trade? I t ridiculous. just like you! The Cubs won a big game..... where were you???
When are you going to focus on something other than your bizarre infatuation with SilenceS? How many years has this been going on for you? This is a current series thread.

Give it up, dude. It ain't working.
You're really bothered that the Cubs were playing the Rox and the DJ trade was a relevant topic because he's on the Rox? You're telling others to give it up? I don't come to this board for the comedy, but this is quite humorous.

And stealing the thread from the whiners and getting it back on topic...

After tonight, there will be no question that Arrieta is the staff ace. Lester is going to struggle to find it for a while longer, imho.

Lets wait for a month before calling out any ace stuff. Hammel looked very sharp his first game too.

He was the ace last year and continues to be IMO
Exactly. Let's see if he can keep dealing, but there isn't any reason to believe he isn't continuing where he left off.

It worked for the White Sox, can absolutely work for the Cubs.

Ugly schmugly, they're learning how to win and you can literally see their confidence grow. Good teams win games they should lose and by all rights they should have lost the last two nights, but they did not. Now you have a bunch of puffy chested twenty somethings that think they can win every night. As long as their next slump doesn't make them think they'll lose every night it's a very good start.

And you know I don't hype the enemy but I went last year from waiting for him to flop to expecting brilliance each time out there. He's special.

Didn't he have like three starts last year that went 7+ with no hits? He's an ace, now the question becomes how he climbs the ladder to "elitedom."

I'm a big fan of his.

You literally can't see it. But I agree it's all positive.

Another awesome, come from behind walk-off. It's early, but good things are happening. This is shit that didn't happen at all last season. It's magic.... #curseoftheunicorn.
