They need to hit better in critical times. The Rockies gift wrapped the win for us yesterday. A win is a win, but you have to be better then that to win often.

Hopefully they have both the Pirates' and Reds' numbers this year. It would make for a good start to the season, which they haven't had for a while.

Despite the Pirates slow start I would consider both those teams more talented clubs than the Cubs right now. The upside is that the Cubs are loaded with guys that can get get better. Beating those teams would help.

So an RBI single and a Two run HR in the 9th to take a 1 run lead against a hot Colorado team early, to get the win and win the series wasn't good enough for you? :dunno:

The Rockies had 4 errors in the game. It took Latroy Hawkins and a meatball 0-2 pitch for the Cubs to win. If a team gives you 4 errors, you shouldnt have to win it on your last strike if you want to win consistently in the league. But, thanks for your solid input. I can tell you were a great ballplayer.

Yeah, and I can tell what kind of player you were wanting everything perfect for you. Good teams win ballgames when they don't play their best. Not only do the Cubs have some banged up players, they are not at full strength roster yet.

The day started in a hole with their starting pitcher having lousy stuff. They hit a couple of ropes that couldn't find a hole. All signs pointed that it just wasn't their day. However, they STILL found a way to pull out a win, all while you were gloating over the opposing teams players. LOL.

Good luck with expecting every game to wrapped up in a nice statistical package for you.

Fixed that for you. They are hitting .200/.289/.355 as a team this season.

You can get away with that if you do it at critical times. Im not talking clutch. Im talking in critical.

Your reading comprehension is really awful. The Cubs played like shit. Got lucky. Luck doesnt last. You are upset I said they need to tighten up if they want to be a good ball club. I am sorry I think they can play better. I am sorry that they have big expectations and these things have to be cleaned up to win. Im sorry you have no clue how to be rational about your favorite team. Its really not my problem.

I suppose. Still like to see them get hot.

Rizzo and Soler have to get going. Castro has been pretty solid. Rizzo needs to snap out of whatever funk he is in because he looked bad in spring.

Saw on espn's bottom line that the change of pace rules have cut 8 minutes off games. I find it comical that MLB is celebrating this.
