Anyone still upset we traded a starter who's never pitched more than 175 innings in a season for a "run-of-the-mill" first baseman?

Paging KBisBack.... paging PatG... Paging Salami......

Neither team is sorry to have the guy they have.

The Padres have no business bitching about balls/strikes after what we saw on Friday

May have been a tough play, but Fowler had no idea where to go on that ball.

You really think the Padres are excited being on the hook for what figures to be a ridiculous extension on a guy who can't stay healthy?

Lester's command has just been inconsistent all season. Velocity is there -- look at that great pitch to strike out Venable. And look at the missed location on that cutter to Middlebrooks.... It's almost like two different pitchers.

Cubs had better get a lot of offense with Lester giving up runs easily.

Man I wish Lester would get untracked. Going to be hard for the Cubs to contend without him.

I think pads are happy with cashner but not so happy with gyorko.
Whom they thought was going to be a better answer for them at 1B then Rizzo. ..

I don't think the Padres would make that trade if they could redo things

Rizzo is a MVP caliber player and 3 years younger. Obviously the Padres didn't know at the time how contracts would play out, but it's obvious Cashner is going to make a hell of a lot more than the $40 million the Cubs are paying Rizzo
