All good players who have a track record for a few years will find a way by the end of the season to their numbers. Look at Carpenter. He had a slow start and made it up and more within a month. Cubs really did need Rizzo to come out of his funk.First time poster, long time Cubs fan. Just wanted to say, hey. And how much of a stud ballplayer Rizzo has been all year. This guy was once hitting well below the Mendoza line and has slowly crept to near .290. An mvp of a different sort, IMO.
If the Cubs lose this game, it's on the umpire.
Get him out of there. He can't throw a fucking strike.
No. It isn't. Braun was struck out for out number 3.Some questionable calls, but at the end of the day that's on Edwards. He was awful. The inning was a good example of why he is not a closer.
He threw strike 3. The ump just froze. Knew he looked like a jack ass and is tossing everyone. lol
Nah, Edwards put himself in that position. He was erratic that entire inning. The ump didn't help, but even his missed call didn't bring a run in.
