It doesn't matter. The game didn't end because he missed that call. The cubs still had the lead. Edwards still had a chance to get out of it and didn't make the pitches he needed to make. Plain and simple. Then cishek comes in and does the same. You can put it on the ump if you want, but the players can't allow it to affect them. The last two innings were completely uncharacteristic of this team.
It doesn't matter because the game didn't end on that call????
