Ok but did you have any confidence today with Chatwood starting and the bullpen blowing the 2 previous games? Also I did call a 3-6 road trip the last time and they went 3-6 and also I said a losing road trip this time and they are off to a 1-2 start so I’m looking accurate with that one too

Travis Wood caught a fly ball and crashed into the wall in LF. Should we reacquire him and start him in the OF?
I am down on Bote, but playing more people where they are not experienced defensively will not make a team better.
Why do so many fans constantly want to sacrifice defense to get offense instead of the other way around ?

The bottom line is we just played three games on the road versus the hottest team in baseball. We blew a lead in one of them, lost in extra innings in a second, and won the third.
Today we won a game with Lester sick, Rizzo ejected, and Bryant injured, and yet people are all doom and doom and doom and gloom.
If we won 2 of3, we’d be happy. Blow one game, and it’s suicide watch.

Like I said he is a major league starting pitcher.
If he starts to figure TWTW part of it he becomes a legit MLB SP. Talent has never been the issue with him.

who brags about predicting bad results for their team? This is what makes you such a tool. It’s one thing to be frustrated and discuss your team playing bad baseball, but it is weird how you make predictions of their bad play and it gets you so excited

I am frustrated with the losses and when they lose and look bad is when I make my predictions off that terrible play. When I came here to vent before all I got was negative replies from the dipshits here and they said I was negative and the cubs will be fine. I don’t post here much anymore since I have found a much better cubs message board (pro sports daily) and their posters don’t get bashed for being critical of the cubs and they actually post links of trade rumors and talk about the trade deadline quite a bit and the information is just light years ahead of this board so don’t you guys worry I won’t be posting here much if any again. This message board has about 10 posters and 8 of them are buddy buddy and don’t like newbies to the board

Of all the games you would figure we'd lose this series...it'd be the one where Chatwood does an emergency start....Rizzo gets ejected and Bryant gets injured....right after a late night brutal loss in extra innings. Any Cub win is a good win. Not a fan of Schwarber popping up with the bases loaded....but hey...it's a win and I'll take it.

And they are doing it once again with no names being called up since they have some injuries. I swear there isn’t a team that gets better production from the farm system call ups than the cardinals. After their series with Pitt tomorrow they will have a tough 11 game stretch coming up and we will know how serious the cardinals are after that... 3 vs Houston, 3 vs cubs, 2 at A’s and 3 at dodgers

Correct but I can only go with the facts at the time of my comment. It wasn't known then that Bryant was out due to injury, even the TV announcers had no idea and were questioning why KB was removed from the game. Happy to be wrong when the full facts are known...but again, no one knew at the time why KB was removed.
