Well I'm guessing that Chatwood was on a pitch count. But 63% strikes. That was not a sausage fest outing.

No...Joe in his infinite wisdom decided to do a double switch and take Bryant out...Completely stupid if you ask me since Rizzo was the last AB. Put VC at first and try to buy another inning from ChatWood and let him hit as to not waste 2 bench bats by the 5th inning. Chatwood can hit and with the 3 run lead, buy as many spots as you can with him...
The actual story is not in any way that Joe double switched Bryant's bat out f the game for that treason.

Bryant left due to injury. And Rizzo was ejected, though I did not see why.

Almora has two hits, including a HR. But with men on 2nd and 3rd and 1 out, he still does the one thing you just can't do - he whiffs.

You just HAVE to be able to get a bat on the ball if you are focused on contact in that situation. But for as much shit as Russell gets lately, it is Almora who is "tops" on the team in not knowing how to adjust to a situation at the plate.

I would not complain if Schwarber deposited this ball in the cove.

OK - two strikes. Just send it to left on a line.

Nevermind. 3-2. Hit it out.

And they leave runners on when they could have put the game away... well not away but with a lot more breathing room. Would not be surprised for that to come back and bite them

Wonder if Caratini can play 3B again if this is an issue. He did get drafted a as 3B. Can't be worse than watching Bote strike out.

Nope, it has already been decided Joe double switched him for shits and giggles. Eff you Joe, eff you
Well how serious did they say it was? Or did they? I’m watching on mlb network and they have the nbc sports Bay Area announcers calling the game and they haven’t said anything about Bryant

It's clear Joe preferred the bat of Brad Brach to that of Bryzzo.
