Everyone is to blame.

I'm sick and tired of hearing "We are broke. You had the best FA class available in YEARS and you told the fans you couldn't afford it.

EVERYONE... literally everyone knew this Bullpen stuck and you didn't do much to fix it in the offseason or deadline.

I'm just of this man.

I dont understand the pitch to Harper. He was clearly looking inside. Now, maybe if he executes off the plate but man he was sitting on it.

Can't wait for Maddon to be on with Holmes and halve Holmes delve deep into what made Maddon the manager he is and totally ignore the fact that this team is fucking horrible on the road. Never going to make it out of a five game series without HFA.
Holmes will ask him what his favorite soup is.

Yea, this one is on Maddon for bringing in his best pitchers and playing the matchups. Cubs fans. lol
Come on. You know he told Bote to boot that easy grounder. And he called that Strop HBP. How long has he been managing and he doesn’t know those plays never work?

This is the worst loss of the season by far. Happ should have had BOTH grounders up the middle. He hesitated on both plays and got late start...and Holland? Just another failed Theo acquisition. He's worthless. Piece of garbage.

There are sooooo many things wrong with this team but you get what you deserve if you got fooled by Strop having a couple good outings....and throw him out there AGAIN in high leverage situation. Strop is crap now. Plain and simple.

I love it. Bote booted an easy ground ball and posters are bitching about Happ.
The relievers induced three ground balls that should have been outs.
Bote and Happ fucked them all up.
Joe, in his infinite wisdom, yanked the pitcher who got the ground ball you want your pitcher to get, and brought in Strop. Strop has been good more than bad, but he always struggles if he doesn't start an inning clean. Then Holland!!???

Joe must get paid by the pitching change.

Darvish threw 93 pitches and was untouchable. So Joe took him out.

Joe can argue everyone is injured in the pen.

Good call on that pitch by Holland. Wtf is he doing throwing that inside.

Remember holland was released by the giants. If he was any good they would have kept him.

You will see significant turnover this off season.

See, I'd agree. But it won't happen. They are going to roll out this same roster minus Russell and hope to win with The core.

His best pitcher was pulled when he could have pitched another inning.
His second best pitcher of the night was pulled because his IF's can't field.
His worst pitcher when it comes to coming in with men on, was summoned.
His worst pitcher on the entire staff was then summoned.

When, exactly, did he use his best pitchers properly?

Yep. Got 2 ground balls that should have been outs. Just unreal.

You have a 5-0 lead in the 8th inning and find a way to lose? Inexcusable. At this critical point in the season you throw "Stropy" out there? Let's get 'em next year. I love the Cubs...but I HATE this particular team.

For all that's been said of the Cubs winning culture since the JM hire...yes looking at the big picture, but... does JM get credit for the losing on the road part of that culture ?

Had him 0-2, and let him win it.

I am not entirely certain that Happ does not drink during games.

We lost two or three days ago due to his dropped popup.
We lost tonight because he can't glove a ball to his right.
