Aramis got ripped a lot by fans for not hustling although when it was at it's peak, I think it came out that he had a leg problem or something. Definitely underrated defensively.

For me it just got to be frustrating with Ramirez those last 2 years when he was looking more like David Ross at the plate in April and May then himself. .

They had a decent team in 2010 and 11 but his early struggles were part of the reason they lost early on and fell double digit back by june.. he was their key run producer in that lineup and failed often in those 2 months..

Ramirez needed players around him to click in April and May to not notice his early struggle, but once he got going he carried that team for long stretches. ..

The frustrating part of this team is that part of the order..
Need whoever batting 6 and 7 to come through with some hits with guys on base. .

Wouldn't surprise me if those 2 spots in order have left the most men on base ...

I sure would've liked to see Baez coming up with bases loaded instead of Castro.

I think Castro looks like the bat weighs a ton. He doesn't seem to have control of the barrel.

Maybe a lighter bat would really help, though I confess I have no idea what weight he uses. It looks like he is swinging lead.

Damnit. Need a big inning.

One run in, bases loaded and one out. We get a ground ball (naturally) to the worst possible spot. The guy simply doesn't seem to even have an approach. Whatever happens, happens.

He just hit so few balls with authority.

I didn't mind the send..
I 2 outs and it took 2 perfect throws to get him

He barely hit the bag when Kang had the relay throw. He was out by a quarter of the baseline. You have Kris Bryant and Rizzo. You trust your sluggers in that spot. It was an extreme send.

We need more of that Starlin. Not only the 2 out rbi, but hustled his butt to second to score on a single. Well done.

He did the second time up - much better!

Did you see the end of the play ?

Russell was about 3 feet from home when catcher caught the ball.. it wasn't like he hung him out to dry, a bad throw and he has a chance to score..

2nd , Bryant is up with 2 outs and he hasn't exactly been swinging a good bat lately. . 5 for last 35

It was a good send with 2 outs
