Why not put him on waivers, if/when he clears outright him to Iowa til the end of season and let him sit and watch the rest of the year on the bench and just use him for garbage time in September...

He hitting. 200 over his last 30 games

Yea i know the defense but he basically an auto out with the pitcher at bottom of order..
Pretty tough to carry when the bats overall arent really pounding the ball

Outside the power and RBI surge in 2016, he hasn't done much average and On Base wise..

Funny thing is, despite his struggles..
This has been his best year average and on base, but worse year
OPS at .684
