He’s making a play for Schwarbers playing time when Zobrist comes back. He’s always had talent, I think it became as much mental as it was physical so I think that’s why the Cubs only needed a few good weeks to send him up.

He struggled in the minors as well until about June/July. Maddon said his swing looks better but really talked about his right handed swing looking more efficient.
