Lets remember the mentality here. They gave Underwood one start in June of 2018, pitched one game, gave up 1 earned, 3K 3 BB, 2.25 ERA, send him down, moved him to the pen, had a 20 some scoreless inning streak the beginning of the year, and did not come back here til August 2019.

I honestly believe it had more to do with Alozay in the Iowa rotation and they just plucked out Mills. That would be 2/5th of that staff gone and a shift happening to cover the games. Add to it Alzolay most likely would have been unavailable anyways. last pitched 8/8.

Regardless they should ass can Maples. They already have a guy like him but with way more experience in Kimbrel. At least you know that he can pitch his way through wildness vs shit the bed like Maples does.

This team can win the division but that’s about it for this season. One and done in the first round if they get to the playoffs.

Why don't we hear that they are having a team meeting to address this? These guys are so ho-hum. No fire or passion when they play.

Hendricks kept tossing 85 MPH fastballs over the middle of the plate and Cincy had batting practice. Pretty much sums it up.
