What are you laughing at?
When you were ready to extend his contract he had allowed three baserunners and had recorded four outs.

I gave him credit, once he actually earned it.

You have lowered expectations to the point where you praise him for getting through one inning unscathed.

:)

I would not be upset if Coach hits his third HR of the game.

Love the Reds announcer, " A bare handed attempt at a wiff..."

6 run lead. Two outs. Underwood K's a guy, and Joe makes a pitching change.

I am not worried with a 6 run lead, but.....why change? What if the next guy doesn't have it? You keep changing. You use a lot of pitchers.

This is precisely the situation to use Underwood and see what he does, even if he allows a run or two. Test him.

You need to stop living and dying by every batter. He K'd 6 batters in 3 innings of shutout relief. You're channeling your inner Chi55.

Ya he was charing the Reds.

Who was scoffing having Chatwood in the rotation next year again?
Gotta love typing on a cell phone. I don't know what "a charwood" is and how my phone came up with that. It originally defaulted to Heywood. I think you are on to something here. He is starting to look really good in his long relief stints and has improved his command greatly since last season.

I wasn't doing anything close to that. I have made no comment that was "living and dying with every batter"

YOU anointed him Cy Young when he had a runner on and one out in his second inning of work, after allowing two runners in his first inning.

I was not the least bit down on Chatwood. I was questioning why you felt that was the time to praise him. You are deflecting, Donald.

Last inning, JD mentioned we have had a Wood, a Chatwood and an Underwood pitching in this game.

Len just brought it up this inning, and JD was nice enough to not point out he had made the same observation ten minutes ago.

Baez with the left handed at bat. He says he could be a major league switch hitter. Thats a pretty nice swing. That was fun
