Does anyone else think that Arrieta looks like he could play Kevin Kline's character in Silverado?

Ha! One of my favorite movies.

"Can't you see this horse loves me?"

"I had a gal kiss me like that once, didn't make her my wife"

The Cubs are -363 tonight. I am thinking you gotta go back to Vintage Pedro/RJ to get a line like that.

I don't care if it's the Brewers, tonight is must see TV with Jake Arrieta on the mound. I'll be flipping over during commercials of the White Sox game as Quintana is on the mound. Good to be a fan right now of the Chicago baseball teams.

With all the Cubs attention, the Sox have somewhat quietly put together a great start as well. I've always said that I'd Love to see a Cubs/Sox WS. Wouldn't it be ironic if the 1st time the Cubs get to the WS in 100+ years they played the Sox? I bet Sox fans would be drooling for the Sox to have a chance for that upset!

Cubs -1.5 at -155 is insanely better value than Cubs -363. In fact, I feel -155 at -1.5 is almost impossibly LOW for a Jake start. Especially with Jake being on five days so the no hitter being 119 pitches is probably not a huge factor.

What do you think the numbers would be with the Sox and Sale vs the Reds and Simon? There are a lot of mismatches this year and Vegas is well aware of it.

I'd die of spasms. Literally die. I couldn't deal with the two meeting head to head.

I'm not sure. Probably less odds just because of the betting public changing the wagering. Many more Cub Fans drive the numbers to unrealistic places.

I bet everyday. Arrieta is the biggest one I have seen this year, but vegas has been setting a lot of heavily favored lines in the early going. Anything with the Braves and Phillies. The other team is being heavily favored for most of their games just for an example.

Oh I know. It used to be such easy money in April. If you wager against every line that was -150 or more you made a killing.
