Nice

That was a interesting delivery. Salt to chlorine converter for a customer's pool. 95 today and tomorrow that sounds really nice

I was reading that Burns was striking out Cubs last year at a record pace. I guess there is something to removing a few 30% strike out bats

Yes, you could see what Hoyer was doing last year with Madrigal. He wants contact and walks. Cubs before were strikeouts and walks. This is very much a small ball team even though Hoerner went yard

Did someone check on the Brewers to make sure they survive this rain out?

Great game. Make the Crew look like little league players who can't pitch inside.

Classic

It's a small sample but I like the 'new approach' in the batters box by the hitters. The discipline in the batters box was nonexistent in recent years.

Granted the Brewers' pitching was surprisingly bad but it's still nice to see they can put up 9 without a home run. I think the prediction that the new look Cubs would be more disciplined and hit for contact looks like it's going to be true. That is just fine with me as there should also be enough power in this lineup when needed.

LOL at Ross saying “A lot of balls getting away from guys the last couple of days. This game has a way sometimes of just kind of policing itself.” I am guessing the league will step in and put both managers on notice before someone really does get hurt?

Ugh. Not a fan of attempting to steal bases. I'll take 3-0. But would be 4-0 otherwise.
