Cubs aren't quite the historically good team they appeared in that big run to start the year but they damn sure are the most complete team in the majors this year. Good bullpen. Good starters. Good defense and most of the time good hitting.

I agree. When retaliation does happen and the benches clear....I'm hoping they ignore the pitcher and someone kicks the shit out of Matheny. I'd pay to see that.

BTW, as a Cub fan down in North Carolina, I don't get to see a lot of games. Last night was the first time watching/seeing the Montgomery kid pitch. He was fun to watch. I loved seeing all those curve strikes, slider strikes. Awesome strike out of Carpenter, bad walk the batter before though.
