Let's not go overboard here. If Edwin Jackson was pitching we would probably be losing 10-0

Being a little conservative, are we? Just 10 runs?

Yeah, Coke did a pretty good job. Just the beginning of a very good Cubs bullpen.

And Montero couldn't even pull a GB to 1B side. Situationally speaking, these Cubs have a long way to go.

Good thing we've got 161 more games to iron it out.

Cards are dealing with a different ump?

No. I was referring to the Cub offense. Lester has left some pitches up and got hurt. And a few miscues behind him hurt as well.

That doesn't change the fact - and it just happened again as i am typing this - that the Cub batters are chasing because of some calls. Soler struck out on a pitch a foot outside because the earlier one 8 inches outside was called a strike. LaStella just took a 3-1 pitch that was 5 inches inside, and it was a strike, and he then made out.

Not exactly time to jump off a bridge over the lack of scoring. Chill.

Iron out that our 9 figure ace looks tired, that our hitters are incapable of driving in runs, and the fact that nobody seems to have a clue how to field? That's a lot to iron out.

If you're butthole is gaping because the Cubs are trailing in the first game of the season, you could always do everyone a favor, pick your remote up and change the channel.

Or feel free to keep trumpeting your pathetic diatribes to come off as a total whiner. Looks like it suits you just fine.
