Meh...looks like the Russell talk is starting....

Daniel Descalso, Ben Zobrist and David Bote at second base. Entering Friday, Chicago's second basemen as a unit had produced a .307/.395/.417 slash line with a 119 wRC+ (fourth in the National League). Defensively, though, the group has registered -3 Defensive Runs Saved, -7.5 UZR/150 and -0.2 Defensive Runs (per Fangraphs).

Cubs have had 18 baserunners through 6 innings..
They could easily have 10 runs again with a couple big hits..

Both Baez and Hendricks have left 8 on base

Brach again proves that he is the weakest link.

Is it just me or are the cubs really good with 2 outs this year?

Six two out runs in Wednesday’s game. Yes, they’re doing well so far. I like that.

Even with a zillion stranded runners today they scored five. Keep it going

Exactly two weeks after starting the season 1-6, the Cubs have climbed back to .500. Not bad for a team that wasn't going to dig out of this hole until June after being intentionally set up to fail by Epstein in his quest to rid himself of Joe Maddon by May. Looking forward to the badly needed total rebuild of this team that's averaged a pathetic 97 wins per season over the past four years.

Just as I predicted all offseason.
