Hats off to Travis Wood... 4 perfect innings in relief

I thought last year he was our most underrated player, as he was so versatile. He is used that way again, and is doing great as far as I am concerned. Love the guy! He's one of my favorites on this team.

I asked this in a separate thread that was completely ignored, so I will ask it here - does anyone know how many season tix are sold in the bleachers?

I am trying to buy tickets so 7 of us can sit together (to replace some tix I already have), and gen Admission is the only way to do so.

Many sellers have VIP bleacher seats offering early entry, which sounds great, but not if thousands of others also have them.

Does anyone know? Can anyone help me out?

I am taking my kids and my brother's kids for Fathers Day. (He passed away) and I would like to stay together if possible.

Bleachers may be "rough" on a night game, but they are teens, not toddlers.
The last time I was in the bleachers was 1967 so I think the seating policy may have changed

I have never sat in the bleachers but it seems like you just have to be in the same section and the same row. I would think if you got there early. It wouldnt be a problem.

As a kid, we literally arrived at 8:30 am and waited in line for two hours until the gates opened almost THREE hours before the game started.

I don't mind waiting in line, but don't want to spend so much time in line we don't get to run around town a little on Sunday.

That's why I considered buying the early entry tix, but if that line ALSO lines up at 3 PM (both games are night games that weekend) it defeats the purpose.

I haven't been to Wrigley since 2011 so I don't know about VIP but if you're in line early enough there shouldn't be a problem. We used to get there about 9:00 for big games.

That is still the case during the reg season. But VIP gets a 5 minute head start.

I apologize for hijacking the thread.

Meanwhile, Cub pitchers have retired 19 straight.

Just out of curiosity i took a look to see record for best start record wise...

I notice that if they hold on and win number 35 today, they need to win 15 before losing 10 to beat the 2015 Cardinals record of fastest to 50 wins (74 games)

This in and out is hurting Baez. Thats a ball he doesnt miss. You can see the frustration. He has done great cutting his K's down, but he needs reps.

Looks like they are calling it a Hami cramping. Not sure if that gets DL time. If so only choice is promoting Edwards and making a BP day again. Williams and Johnson are on the DL.

Maddon already said Hammel should be ok for next start
