0 for 4.

Six men stranded.

Can't hit a ball hard.

Bring up LaStella and or Baez, and move Russell to SS

Hope that walk doesn't come back to haunt them.

The Giants pitcher Romo looks like he's 120lbs.

Fowler and Castro have been very disappointing this year.

Need to stay aggressive when up big though. Otherwise, big win.

Fantastic win

The Cubs may have the advantage in each pitching matchup the rest of the way

Let's get Lester win #7 tomorrow

Apparently Baez isn't coming up anytime soon as Hoyer wants him to develop further.

Not saying it is factual, but it could also be that they will leave him down and let him hammer AAA, and then use him as trade bait to get a TOR pitcher in the off-season.

Could be me, but if he hits in AAA and he isn't exposed to weaknesses at the parent level, in essence, he would look attractive in a trade, especially being one of the top (if not the top) prospects for the Cubs.

And yes. I would also like to see LaStella playing on most days. He deserves a shot to try and be a player for the Cubs, and at worst, be a very good bench player.

That can definitely be that case, but I'll be damned... I really wanna give Baez another shot in the bigs

Me too. But the Cubs best chances of guys in a trade that have value without completely wrecking the core to me are Baez and Soler.

We all know that the Cubs eventually will trade someone that we will question.

Right now between the two, I am not sure who would be the bigger jaw-dropper. I am leaning more towards Baez even though Soler is probably going to be the more consistent player.

I prefer Baez coming up not only for potential offensively, but because he snd Russell in MI would make us very good defensively. That itself is huge.
