Well, have you seen the Nationals schedule?

Of note is that at this rate they have a great chance to clinch in front of Harper during a 5 game series second to last to close the season.

However, they are going to have to get through Mets, Braves 7games, Cardinals, Twins, Phillies 5 games, then Indians.

They have another week and a half to build a lead before they run into absolute death.

Cubs are likely gonna have to fight off the Cardinals and Brewers, because the Nats are hot, and the Mets have the pitching stream all others desire other than Houston/L.A. The Mets will probably push into top of the central territory after a few more cycles.

Gonna be an exciting N.L. finish for sure, but my dream would be to see the Nats close out a wild card on fucking Harpers face and dance and scream and celebrate while he watches or throws a jr high tantrum and breaks shit and cries in front of the camera and tells us he will never forget this and come back stronger. Ok Bryce...

Signing Patrick Corban and Anibal Sanchez. They had Soto already and Turner is healthy. That team didn't need Harper to be good. Harper would have prevented them from being good going forward.
