Cubs will be fine
When? They lost the division last year....and are not leading it this year. What is "fine"? Over .500? Okay...they will probably be "fine" then if that's the bar for a team with the league's 2nd highest payroll.

Disappointing at bat from Javy. The Cubs badly need him to get hot.

Nationals seem to CONSISTENTLY score runs and put pressure on if they aren't. 5-2 now. Damn. Why can't Cubs have a lineup like this? 3 runs down feels like 30.

Three runs for Nats. Two of those men walked.

Yeah, losing to shot team like the Nats while the Cards beat up a juggernaut Rockies team is cause for alarm. Because the schedule wont change after each series.

Win, and you get crickets.
Lose a few, and the panic starts.

A sweep at home...now going on the dreaded road to play a really good team? Could be 2 1/2 out after today? But..."we'll be fine" right?

If the Nationals continue this success at the plate, I could see them doing damage in playoffs.

Cubs need to get healthy. regroup a bit and relax.

After blowing the division last year....possibly being 2 1/2 out...now going on the road to play a really good team? With not many games left? Showing no signs of offensive life? Yeah...I'd say it's past panic time.
