You might be right, but i just dont see them getting rid of Montero who i believe is signed for 2 more years to play Schwarber there. .
I think they prefer the veteran in Montero behind the plate ocer an inexperience and has lots to learn Schwarber..
Especially if their planning on a rotation with Lester, Arrieta, and hopefully Price. ..

You ever used "dry ice" as a pseudo "smoke machine" at a party before?
I remember when "Smashmouth" song All Star came out and we had a party in a basement someone broke out a bowl of dry ice and a LASKO fan to blow it on the "dance floor" in their parent basement.
That with the multicolored disco balls and bright lights made for a great time... man if only we were young again.

I personally think bouncing the kid back n forth between C and LF will end up hurting the kid eventually. .

Hoyer didn't jump on Utley. Said 2B answer will come from with in. Said LaStella needed a full year at 1 level. Baez was also mentioned.
Looking at this I believe they are going to continue to get cost savings in position players. This should let them be able to invest into the rotation.
Seeing how Hammel is turning into a post all star let down 2 years in a row and Hendricks still learning to master pitching it is a wise move to go after a upgrade to both. That is going to cost either talent or payroll.
