I'm not the biggest sabre-head, but I'm pretty sure his numbers rate much higher than his record indicates. He probably shat himself when the Cubs scored 7 runs.

I dont care what anyone says but I actually like the Crosstown matchup for what it is and I do take it very seriously. Not that I gloat to Cubs fans but just because I like my team to be the best and that is just how I am. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have bragging rights so no one can use them against you later. Therefore, I wont have to worry about some casual idiot Cubs fan being like, "We beat you therefore we're better!" Because I like to have intelligent discussions with people about baseball it sucks whenever they use that. So I just like to take it myself so no one else can use it. That and the supremacy issue are the reasons I care so much about this series.

Sox had great momentum going taking 5 out of last 6 before yesterday and then play like crap yesterday. Granted, Samardzija was dealing. But the defense was pretty much as bad as the offense.
