I'm sure he didn't mean to put it over the plate.

Sox drew under 21,000 tonight which means that they now have to average 29,000 to hit 2 million for the season.

hey long time no talk. good to see you still following your team being out of the race. im shocked that the tribe is as bad as they are. they need some pitching and a real bat in the lineup and they may be back to contend.

Did you know that Adam Dunn also has 100 walks? The one he just took in front of Paul Konerko should've been 101. That's pretty epic considering his strikeout rate and the fact that there are many other players who have more plate appearances than he does. With 41 homers, he needs to go on a bit of a tear to be the leader in the three true outcomes.

I'm actually pulling for Cabrera to win the TC. Nice to have that happen in my lifetime

I think the Sox should stop trying to steal bases for a little bit. Yuk.

What's up with today's game being a day game in the middle of the series?

I guess all the Sox fans either have to work right now or are about to kill themselves :shifty: :nervous:

Going into I believe it was Sunday 82% of attempted steals were successful against the Tribe. Tribe starters are constitutionally incapable of holding runners close.

I'm glad you know your team better than I  The only true knowledge I have of the Tribe's inner workings come from watching the mid-to-late 90s teams and "Major League".

He was probably safe but he strayed so far off the base that it was stupid. Deserved out :D

Jeff Manto was with a couple of those teams. He was just saying today how much he was amazed by the hitting on the team and what a good job Tribe hitting coach Charlie Manuel did. He said this was what first gave him the idea to go into coaching.

BTW -- The Tribe thinks Kluber is capable of being a MOR pitcher. Don't be fooled by his stats coming into the game. They were highly inflated by his first inning inning difficulties,

Gordon Beckham let Chris Perez off the hook.

Best hope for the Royals to kick some ass tonight.

To be fair, even though he made a first-pitch out, that pitch looked like a good one to swing at. But then again I'm only following on Gameday from work.
