Don't recall either of those happening after the last two Cup wins.

Road wins. That was the whole point of saying I feared winning at home. It's not like I said I hope the Hawks lose.

How does that make a difference? Fans are going to be out all over the city anyway. Other than some drunk idiots in Wrigleyville starting shit with the police, I don't recall anything serious happening.

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Twenty-three people were arrested during a massive celebration of the Blackhawks Stanley Cup victory early Tuesday, police said.

The arrests were for crimes such as reckless conduct, disorderly conduct and battery, police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said. There were also a few arrests for battery, though there were no reported injuries in those incidents.

Twenty-one citations were given for lesser offenses such as drinking on the public way, littering and public urination, Mirabelli said.

"The crowds remained mostly peaceful," Mirabelli said.

But crowds became unruly at the intersection of Addison and Southport about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday as police in riot gear met a raucous crowd that started throwing glass bottles at police vehicles.

The rowdy scene was one of the last stands staged by revelers who descended on the Wrigleyville neighborhood after the Hawks victory, which was sealed in the final minutes of the third period.

At that intersection, there were no police in sight when four men stood on the roof of a bus shelter and others danced on the trailer of a flatbed truck. The throng repeatedly rushed into the intersection to jump on the hoods and roofs of cars while blocking traffic.

Others threw bottles and trash in the streets while several men climbed above the mob, shimmying up traffic light poles.

I don't know. Fox tend to be inaccurate and biased. I can't imagine the good people of the north side doing something like that.

Circumstantial evidence at best.

Anyway, back to hockey talk.

One thing about Tampa that should prove to be a significant focus for the Hawks is the power play. It's been electric (get it?) this postseason, and was an impressive 7-for-22 (31.8%) in the ECF against the Rangers. Safe to say that they probably don't advance without it.

Tampa's PK? Not so good, just operating at 70.8% percent in the last series.

Shouldn't Wisconsin have a team before Florida? I'm pretty sure they'd fill the seats. Give Minnesota their name back too.

Hawks weren't going to lose game 7. If they're as determined, Tampa might get a game out of the series. I think it's a bad matchup for Tampa.

Sadly Florida has two teams, lol.
