Here, I’ll attempt to keep this thread in topic (though I’m probably too far down the rabbit hole). I really think the Hawks take this in 4 games. I think their defense and experience counters Tampa’s speed.

Yeah, that'll happen. Let's be realistic please. Tampa is not a bad team. Hawks are still likely to beat them but a sweep? Unlikely.

I want to believe in a sweep, but I still have this feeling they'll la an egg in a game or two. Similar to what they did in the Anaheim series.

Plus I think Bishop may steal one or two games. But the Hawks will ultimately overwhelm him, just like they've done to pretty much every goalie they've ever faced in the playoffs.

Threads going to shit constantly involve the same people. Wish some mods would step up and do something about it.

I think the Blackhawks take this in 6 games. Bolts can certainly take the series but the game that the Bolts play (speed, fast paced, up and down) just plays too much into the Blackhawks game, atleast in my opinion. Bishop can come up big, TB can capitalize on their chances, TB can dominate and get going on the PP, Stamkos goes off, etc...so it isn't a cakewalk and TB can certainly take it. However, I just feel like if this series was played 10 times, the Blackhawks win it the large majority of the time.

All i need to do is look at the number of penalty minutes that Tampas most productive offensive players have been accumulating and know that if they want to be off the ice sitting in the box against the Hawks then go for it. Good thing that the Hawks most offensive players aren't taking the same number of dumb penalties. It's actually crazy the number of minutes Tyler J had taken and Stamkos and even Kucherov.

Its crazy Shaw has the most penalty minutes btw all players left in the cup final but after that 8 bloody Bolts have higher penalty minutes before you get to the next Blackhawk player that being Bickell. Tampa shouldnt have made it this far with that many penalty minutes overall by individual players esp the top offensive ones. Hawks are going to exploit the **** out of that team tendency to take penalties if Tampa keeps it up. Can trash the Hawks pp all you want but they will make the young penalty heavy Bolts pay each time they take a penalty. Wether that is by scoring on a pp or even killing clock minutes and wearing down the Bolts penalty killers and Bishop.

Again you can pretend that 4th line isnt important enough to sway a series but that is a load of bullshit a 4th line can actually win a series including a cup final. Im hoping Kruger is alright because with him the Hawks do have the best 4th line by a country mile. If Kruger is out? THat may change but it will still be better even if Steeg needs to come in and push someone else down to the 4th or even plays it himself.

They really don't even have a 4th line. They dress 11 forwards. That's how bad their forward depth past the top six is. :lmao:

Toews vs. Johnson. Kruger vs. Stamkos line. Hawks take this in 5, maybe 6. Assuming the lines aren't changed from game 7 Anaheim. If they fuckup the matchups, all bets are off.

That scares me. He also took nasty hits from Stoner earlier in the series, too, so you have to think something bad might have happened from that Kesler hit to make it worse. We'll see Wednesday, but I'm still concerned nevertheless.
