Sweep would be awesome, and I think it would propel them into the playoffs and make a run like '05.

Three really good pitching matchups. Series like this one are what baseball in September is all about. Controlling your own destiny at the top of the division. Huge series. A sweep for the Sox would be a hell of a boost heading down the stretch.

We needed De Aza back, .346 OBP at the top of the order is huge.

It was .351 before the last few games before he went on the DL.

ehhh. i have no confidence. I really really want game 1. its so crucial. so much pressure on det if we win game 1
